It’s Christmas again. This year a lil’ special, my family agreed to let me invite carolers to come and sing for the very first time. Hallelujah~ And I am very glad that the Elim Youths did a pretty good job. A great big thanx to all who came and enjoyed the nite!

Before the caroling, my relatives all came for a get-together dinner in conjunction of the “Dong Zhi”…err…I do not know what it’s known as in English though. You night get bored already as 90% of my posts are food-related, but what to do…it’s me, Liyen mar…

Boston Cheesecake

I’d gotten really proud when my first attempt to make sponge cake turned out perfectly and I thought it’s such an easy recipe and will never ever fail…NOPE! I just dumped four sponge cakes in the waste bin in the last 2 days! Sesat! Aih..the proportion of the ingredients is really a big headache. The failures where all due to the different sizes of the eggs I used…darn! And nope, that is not going to make me quit making sweet yet sinful cakes!

Yesterday a Boston Cheese Cake…its supposed to be a cake-base cheesecake, since my sponge cake didn’t turn out the way it should, I just simply replace with a biscuit-base… =.=’’’.

Lemon Mousse Cake

Must write on this first…all my Malacca trip and other stuff need to be ‘on-hold’ for awhile…

Here comes my lemon mousse cake…I remembered the first mousse cake I made was a chocolate mint mousse cake but turned out really bad and ended up in the waste bin…this time…*phew*, berjaya pulak! I just don’t know why all my successes shadowed by, somehow, flaws!!! The recipe suggested an 8” pan but I only have one with size 10 (which I bought yesterday)! Turn out, again, my lemon mouse was a lil’ too thin in the middle. However, the taste…I have got to say **BRAVO**…hahaha, want a bite?

Books from UTP Library

Been quite a long time since I last wrote…too busy as the plans are going on smoothly one after another and hardly have time to sit and write…will update those “plans” one by one ya…

Whole loads of books…these are all the books I borrowed from my uni’s resource centre on my very last day of the semester…there are so many books on cooking and baking, decorating and making all sorta stuff…I just simply love my uni’s library! guess that’s good enough to spend my hols on.

(* the first book on the top is from my dear dear wan…a special gift on a gloomy day….perfect! *blink* )
